Shipbuilding Plate Processing
Ship structure plate is called in brief ship plate. Because of the poor environment of ship,
ship husk is apt to chemical erosion by sea water, E-chemical erosion and erosion by
microbes. Ship body has to suffer wind and tide attack and stress alternation,. Shipshape is
quite complicated for its process method, therefore the requirement for ship body structure
steels is very high. First excellent tenacity is the key requirement. Besides, high
intension, anti-erosion ability, welding ability, face quality and molding ability are also
needed. In order to guarantee quality and enough tenacity, the requirement for the amount of
manganese and carbon is restricted.

transmission and oxygen fuel gas cutting, takes advantage of automatic program instead of
annoying and low efficiency manual computation . therefore those shapes including beeline, round
arc, non-round arc and combination of above mentioned shapes of plates and all shapes of spare
parts can be cut exactly. It is fit for hot cutting steels for manufacturing industry such as
shipbuilding industry.
properties and specification: Three strength grades and four quality grades of high intension
structure steel classified by China classification society.
normal intension structure steel in quality classified by International and CCS : A,B,D,E.
according to its minimum yield point, strength of ship body structure steel classified as:
normal intension structure steel and high intension structure steel.
